1. Booking and Payment


  • 1.1. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot in the class.

  • 1.2. Bookings are non-refundable, except as outlined in the cancellation policy below.

  • 1.3. Payments can be made online during booking.

  • 1.4. Gift vouchers can be used for bookings; however, they are non-refundable and must be redeemed within 12 months of purchase.


2. Cancellation and Rescheduling


  • 2.1. If you need to cancel your booking, you must notify us at least 21 days before the class date to receive a full refund.

  • 2.2. Cancellations made between 14-21 days before the class date are eligible for a 50% refund.

  • 2.3. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the class date are non-refundable.

  • 2.4. Rescheduling is allowed once per booking if requested at least 14 days in advance, subject to availability. A rescheduling fee of £10 may apply for changes made less than 14 days in advance.

  • 2.5. If you miss a class due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, please notify us immediately. Rescheduling may be offered at the discretion of the Baking Studio and may incur an additional fee.

  • 2.6. Refunds will be processed within 7 working days of cancellation approval.


3. Class Attendance


  • 3.1. Classes start promptly at the scheduled time; late arrivals may not be accommodated.

  • 3.2. If you are late, we will do our best to catch you up where possible, but no refund or credit will be issued for missed portions of the class.

  • 3.3. All minors under the age of 10 are not permitted to attend, unless the class is specifically designed for children.

  • 3.4. Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

  • 3.5. Class durations are approximate, and participants are expected to exercise some flexibility regarding end times.


4. Health and Safety


  • 4.1. All participants must wear appropriate clothing, including closed-toe shoes.

  • 4.2. Please inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions at the time of booking.

  • 4.3. The Baking Studio cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment due to the presence of common allergens such as wheat, nuts, and dairy.

  • 4.4. If you have experienced symptoms of illness (e.g., vomiting or diarrhea) within 48 hours prior to the course, please refrain from attending and contact us immediately.

  • 4.5. All open wounds must be covered with a suitable plaster; if needed, we can provide one upon arrival.

  • 4.6. Participants are expected to follow all instructions and safety guidelines provided by the instructor.

  • 4.7. A waiver acknowledging safety risks will be presented for signing at the start of the class.

  • 4.8. The studio is kept at a cooler temperature to aid pastry preparation, ensuring butter and other ingredients remain in optimal condition. Participants are advised to bring a jumper or warm clothing, just in case they find the environment chilly.


5. Liability


  • 5.1. Baking Studio by Wheatberry Ltd. shall not be held responsible for any injuries, accidents, or damages that occur during the class as a result of a participant's actions or failure to follow instructions.

  • 5.2. Participants are responsible for their personal belongings during the class.


6. Special Dietary Requirements & Food Allergies


  • 6.1. The Baking Studio cannot tailor recipes for individual dietary requirements; however, vegetarian options will be provided when lunch is included.

  • 6.2. Vegan or other dietary options can be offered upon request, with prior notice.

  • 6.3. Tea, coffee, and water are available during the class.


7. Lateness and No-Show Policy


  • 7.1. It is essential you arrive promptly for your workshop. Late arrivals may miss significant portions of the class, and no refunds or credits will be provided.

  • 7.2. Participants who fail to attend without prior notice will forfeit their booking.


8. Force Majeure


  • 8.1. The Baking Studio is not liable for cancellations due to events beyond our control, such as extreme weather, illness, or government restrictions.

  • 8.2. In such cases, classes will be rescheduled, or a credit will be issued for future use.


9. Intellectual Property


  • 9.1. Recipes and materials provided during the class are for personal use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.


10. Changes to Classes


  • 10.1. The Baking Studio reserves the right to modify class content, instructors, or schedules if necessary.

  • 10.2. Participants will be notified of significant changes in advance.


11. Media Consent


  • 11.1. Photos or videos may be taken during the class for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform us prior to the class.

  • 11.2. Participants may take personal photos but are not permitted to use these for commercial purposes without prior consent.


12. Behavior Policy


  • 12.1. Participants are expected to maintain respectful behavior towards instructors and fellow attendees.

  • 12.2. Disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the class without refund.


13. Smoking Policy


  • 13.1. There is a designated smoking area available on the property. Smoking is permitted only in this area.


14. Minimum Class Size


  • 14.1. The Baking Studio reserves the right to cancel classes if the minimum participant number is not met. In such cases, participants will be offered a reschedule, credit, or full refund.
